Are you looking for a notebook of nature based activities to use for ages 4-8? Then, I’m glad you stopped here! This blog gives you a look inside my Nature Activity Book. Last year, I scoured the internet looking for different nature/outdoor/seasonal based activities for my children. However, they either included a lot of supplies, involved hiking through the woods for long stints of time, or were just above the age range I was looking for.
In this post, I will show you the Table of Contents and a preview of every season. You can always go straight to my shop if you want. Let’s get to it!
Nature Activity Book Preview
Below is the Table of Contents:
The first section of the notebook is the Fall section, and there are 11 activities. Making the bird feeder is the only activity that requires more than what I call “on hand” supplies such as glue, pencils, and scissors.
Next is the Winter section, which has 9 different activities. All of them are pictured below.
After Winter comes the Spring activities, and there are 10 of them.
Summer is the final section; it has eight activities. All of them are pictured below.
Here is a video of me flipping through the inside…

There are also several options of the notebook to choose from:
- A PHYSICAL full color book (available on Amazon; the cover looks different there; this is an affiliate link which means I make a small commission to run the site if you purchase it through the link!)
- A digital copy of the entire book (on Teachers Pay Teachers)
- Digital copies of individual seasons: Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer (on Teachers Pay teachers)
If you would like to see more pictures of these activities in action, check out my Instagram page.
Also, this notebook is considered a “Place Based” notebook because all of the activities are inspired and grounded in my kids physical place. If you would like to know more about Place Based Education, click here.
All the best,
